Did You Know Punjab Announces Schedule for Annual Matric and Inter Exams? Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) has finalized the schedule of matriculation and intermediate exams of all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) for the academic year 2022-23.
According to details, the decision was taken during a recent meeting of PBCC in which Heads of all Punjab’s BISEs were present. On April 1 and May 20, 2023, respectively, students in South Africa and the United Kingdom will sit down to begin their annual matriculation and intermediate examinations.
Due to a scheduling conflict, this year’s annual exams for grades 9 and 10 were administered by all BISEs a few months later than usual. Exams for Grades 9 and 10 were held in May and May/June, respectively.
The 9th-grade final exams began on May 26 and went through June 10. On September 19th, the results for Grade 9 were released. Grade 10 exams began on May 10 and went through May 25. On August 31st, the class of 10’s final grades was released.

All schools in Punjab, both public and private, will be closed from the 24th to the 31st of December 2022, per a notice issued by the School Education Department (SED). In 2023, classes will resume on January 2.
