The district government of Islamabad has made January 30 a holiday in honor of the visit of the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the country’s capital.

There will be no openings at any government or non-government institutions today.

Hospitals. The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO), the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) will all keep running as usual.

Govt

On January 25th, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

At Chandna Airport in Rahim Yar Khan, Prime Minister Shehbaz met with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The two heads of state met and talked about ways to improve the already close ties between their countries. 

Even more importantly, PM Shehbaz brought up his previous trip to the UAE and stressed the significance of keeping the commitments made there.

Minister for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb, Caretaker CM of Punjab Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Syed Tariq Fatemi were also present at the meeting.
