ISLAMABAD – On Saturday, the price of gold in Pakistan went up by Rs400, making it Rs198,400 per tola. This continued a recent trend of rising prices.
The All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) determined the price of 10 grammes of 24-karat gold to be Rs 170,096 after a Rs 343 increase.
The price per tola in this South Asian nation rose by Rs3,300 yesterday, finally settling at Rs198,000.
The commodity price on the global market has been stable at $1865 per ounce for the past few days.
Silver prices in India remained unchanged at Rs2,160 per tola and Rs1,851 per 10 grammes, respectively, throughout this time.
